We are pleased to announce that following the competition earlier this year we have had five new appointments to the Attorney General’s Panels of Counsel. Rupert Paines and Zoe Gannon have been appointed to the A Panel, Juliet Wells and Ben Mitchell have been appointed to the B Panel and Lucy Jones has been appointed to the C Panel.
The Attorney General maintains panels of junior counsel to undertake civil and EU work for all government departments. Rupert and Zoe will join Julian Blake, James Cornwell, Katherine Eddy, Hannah Slarks, Stephen Kosmin, Heather Emmerson and John Bethell on A Panel. Juliet and Ben will join Ruth Kennedy and Jonathan Worboys on B Panel and Lucy Jones will join Daniel Isenberg, Remi Reichhold, and Raphael Hogarth on C Panel.
The new appointments will commence on 1 September 2026 for a term of five years.
