Andrew Sharland KC was instructed by the Surveillance Camera Commissioner  in the high profile judicial review challenge to South Wales Police’s use of face recognition technology.  This claim raises novel issues relating to Article 8 ECHR (the right to respect for private life) and Data Protection and was heard before the Divisional Court over three days.
