Jason Coppel KC, Tom Cross, and Christopher Knight will represent Her Majesty’s Government in its appeal to the Supreme Court starting on Monday 5 December. The Government argues that it can give effect to the will of the British people, as expressed in the EU Referendum for which Parliament provided, by triggering Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty without prior Parliamentary approval.
