This year has seen the tenth anniversary of the Equality Act 2010. Part 1 relates to tackling inequalities of outcome resulting from socio-economic disadvantages. It has not yet been brought into force across the UK. It is about to be brought into force in Wales. The time for preparation is now. The Welsh Government has published guidance on preparations. James Goudie KC will speak about the requirements for Strategic Decisions addressing socio-economic disadvantages and inequality.
