We are delighted to announce that Juliet Wells joins Chambers today.
Juliet has a wide-ranging practice spanning public law, group litigation, commercial law, international law, public inquiries, and costs and litigation funding. Many of her cases involve issues at the intersection of those areas and have an international dimension.
Juliet is often instructed in high-profile and complex litigation, regularly undertaking work well beyond her level of call. She is ranked as a leading junior in both the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, and is a member of the Attorney General’s C panel of counsel.
Juliet joins 11KBW from Temple Garden Chambers. In 2016–17, Juliet was Judicial Assistant to Lord Justices Jackson, Flaux and Tomlinson at the Court of Appeal. She is the general editor of Zuckerman on Civil Procedure: Principles of Practice (4th Ed. Sweet & Maxwell, 2021), and teaches aspects of civil procedure on Oxford University’s BCL course.
Juliet says: “I am thrilled to be joining 11KBW, a dynamic set with an outstanding reputation across my areas of practice. I am looking forward to working with my formidably talented new colleagues as I embark on this exciting next chapter of my career.”
Daniel Stilitz KC, Joint Head of Chambers, said: “We are delighted that Juliet is joining us at 11KBW. She is developing a strong practice and reputation in public law and related areas. She will be a fantastic addition to our team of highly rated juniors. Her recruitment continues our strategy of growth across all our core practice areas.”
