We are delighted to announce that Anya Proops has been appointed Queen’s Counsel in this year’s round.

Anya Proops KC specialises in information law, human rights law, media law, public law and employment law. Anya is recommended in both Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 as a leading junior in Data Protection, Administrative and Public Law and Employment. The 2016 edition of Chambers & Partners lists Anya as the ‘Star Individual’ junior for her work in the information rights field and describes her as ‘the outstanding junior counsel of choice for both the Information Commissioner and private clients across the full range of issues in information law’. The nature of Anya’s practice is such that she is equally at home conducting lengthy, witness-heavy hearings as she is arguing complex points of law before the appellate courts.
