Julian Blake in David Fuller Inquiry Challenge

Permission to proceed with a judicial review has been refused following an oral hearing in a case concerning the necrophiliac David Fuller. 

The claim sought to challenge the independence of Sir Jonathan Michael who is currently carrying out a non-statutory inquiry into how David Fuller was able to carry out his unlawful actions in the mortuary of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. The claim also sought a statutory inquiry, under the Inquiries Act 2005, with powers to compel witnesses and fund legal representation. 

Julian Blake represented the defendant, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.
