The controversial subject of term-time holidays hit the headlines on Friday 13 May with the decision of the Divisional Court in Isle of Wight Council v Platt.
Paul Greatorex of 11KBW represented the victorious father, Jon Platt, who had challenged the penalty notice issued by the Council after he took his daughter out of school during term-time for a family holiday. There is a post about the decision on 11KBW’s education blog which you can read here.
