Jason Coppel KC appointed to the High Court Bench

We are delighted to announce that Jason Coppel KC has been appointed a High Court Judge, assigned to the King’s Bench Division. He will take up his appointment on 12 January 2026.

Jason has practised at 11KBW for his entire career, since being called to the Bar in 1994, specialising in public law, procurement law and information law, with particular emphasis on EU law and human rights. He appeared in many of the leading cases in these fields and established an unparalleled profile and reputation in his areas of practice. Jason was a Deputy High Court Judge between 2018-2024.
