Christian J. Tams has been elected as the tenth President of the European Society of International Law

We are pleased to announce that Christian J. Tams has been elected as the tenth President of the European Society of International Law (ESIL) at the 20th Annual Conference held in Berlin.

ESIL is the largest society of its kind in Europe. Its nearly 1500 members form a dynamic network of scholars and practitioners working in international law. The Society’s goals are to encourage the study of international law, to foster inquiry, discussion and innovation in international law, and to promote a greater understanding of the role of international law in the world today.
