The High Court has today handed down judgment in the high profile challenge to the proposed reorganisation of the Welsh Air Ambulance Service. In the first judgment to consider a decision of the new NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee and the new duty to consult Llais under the Health and Social Care (Quality and Engagement) (Wales) Act 2020, Turner J held that the Committee had properly complied with its obligations.
Joanne Clement KC represented the claimant, and Jonathan Moffett KC represented the Welsh Air Ambulance Charity.
