11KBW barrister Christopher Knight has been named in The Lawyer Hot 100 following a string of high-profile successes, awards and a newly confirmed appointment as King’s Counsel.
A specialist in public and information law, Christopher has been included in the prestigious list following a year in which he acted in a number of high-profile matters (including for GB News against Ofcom, and the Home Secretary against the Duke of Sussex) which were widely reported. 2025 also saw Christopher achieve the rare success of winning Public Law Junior of the Year in both the Chambers & Partners and the Legal 500 Bar Awards, as well as being ranked in the legal directories as Star Individual for both Administrative and Public Law and Data Protection Law.
Capping an exceptional run of work, Christopher’s appointment as King’s Counsel was confirmed in January 2026, taking effect in March, a recognition of his excellence in advocacy and contribution to public and information law. The appointment, together with his appearance in the Hot 100, cements his reputation as one of the leading barristers working at the intersection of media regulation, privacy and constitutional law.
