We are delighted to announce that Amy Rogers has won Junior Counsel of the Year and that 11KBW was highly commended for Set of the Year at the International Employment Lawyer Awards 2023.

In support of Amy’s Award the International Employment Lawyer have commented:

Highly sought after by the biggest law firms, Amy Rogers has been instructed in many of the major employee competition claims in the past year, including a wealth of team moves, confidentiality, and directors’ duties disputes. Clients value her ability to cut through to the heart of an issue and provide creative solutions.

She is currently acting for Tesco in an important pending Supreme Court appeal on when employers may contractually “fire and rehire” and appeared in the first-ever whistleblowing appeal to be heard in the Qatar Financial Centre.

“Amy is our first port of call on sensitive and high-value matters,” said one referee. “She is particularly strong on conflicts of laws and cross-border matters. The quality of her work and advice is clear from the fact that she is more often than not up against a silk. And if she is unavailable, we normally instruct a silk rather than an alternative at the junior bar.”

“She is in a totally different league to all other juniors at the bar in her area and is the equivalent of, or better than, many KCs,” offered another commentator. “Amy has it all – incredible intellect, a surgeon-like approach to cases, and an absolute pleasure to have on a matter. Our clients love that she’s approachable, commercial, and, above all, a winner. She’s also the hardest worker at the bar. The first thing I do on a big matter is try to get Amy onside.”

We would like to thank our clients who took time to speak with the judging panel.
