11KBW Community Care & COP/ DOL 2017 - Manchester
11KBW invites you to two related half day seminars to be held at the Crowne Plaza, 70 Shudehill, Manchester M4 4AF on Wednesday, 22 March 2017.
The Community Care seminar will be held from 10.00am – 12.50pm.
The COP/DOLS seminar will be held from 1.45pm – 4.15pm.
People are welcome to sign up for either or both seminars.

The sessions will be directed at updates on recent developments in the law in these areas.
Topics in the Community Care seminar will include -
- Case law update
- Age disputes
- Eligibility for continuing health care
- Ordinary residence for local and health authorities, mental health aftercare
Topics in the COP/DOL seminar will include -
- COP substantive update
- COP procedural update
- DOL in hospital: Ferreira
- DOL for people cared for at home: Staffordshire v SRK
Both sessions will be intermediate-level, aimed at people with some knowledge or experience in these areas. They are not intended to provide basic or introductory-level training. Speakers: Jonathan Auburn, Paul Greatorex, Joanne Clement and Zoe Gannon.

Registration for the morning session will be from 9.30am with the conference starting at 10.00am until 12.50pm.
Registration for the afternoon session will be from 12.50pm with the conference starting at 1.45pm until 4.15pm.
Lunch will be from 12.50pm - 1.45pm - you are most welcome to join us for lunch if you are attending either session.
Cost: £40 + VAT (£8.00) = £48.00 per session. If you wish to attend the full day we will give a 10% discount on the price (for both sessions cost = £86.40 including 10% discount)

You will be sent a confirmation email of your place and invoiced.
We do not have the facilities to accept payments by credit or debit cards.
If you have any additional requirements e.g. wheelchair access, large print documentation or an induction loop, or if you have any particular dietary requirements please let us know.
A refund can be made up to 14 days before the conference. A substitute delegate will be accepted any time before the conference.
